Travel is this airline’s gift, delivered through the craft of each individual and the pride taken in their contribution. At the heart of the new headquarters is the story of their people. Craft is represented by the mechanic who signs the engine she's serviced, the gate agent who empowers a guest to make their last minute connection and the IOC team who tracks each plane to its respective destination. Pride is evident throughout the journey and in turn is reflected in their headquarters through a variety of digital, sculptural, and environmental experiences threaded throughout the campus reinforcing the vital role of every single person in this organization and connection to each traveler’s experience.
Within the central rotunda, brand touchpoints tell the grand, overarching story of who the airline is and what the company represents. Further into the wings of the building, the brand elements speak directly to the teams and people who are working there, representing their specific identities within the larger persona of the Airline.

Environmental graphics on every floor characterize the business unit located there, celebrating the unique character and immense contributions of each team—from pilots to technical operations to IT staff and cargo workers. A collection of icons invokes the compelling stories of every critical element that forms the intricacies of American Airlines.

Sculptures are placed at the base of grand staircases, including an aircraft's landing gear and an exact replica of the airline's seatbelt at 10 times the actual scale. Inspired by birds in flight, a 160-foot-long sculpture crafted by the airline's own front-line mechanics soars over the central dining area at the heart of campus.

Located in the C-Suite, an interactive fleet wall is made up of trademark model airplanes that show the full breadth of the fleet. Nearby, the Award Wall recognizes the top 100 employees across the company who go above and beyond their job description, and reminds executives of people working daily to improve everyone's experience.
